Everyone wanted a reason to say,
"The rain is gonna go away if you look
out for the pseudo-sun at the end of the storm".

Well the pseudo-sun is paper-wound, cause it's
falling apart, and it isn't round, but
we all seem to pretend that it's so great.

Everybody knows it, but
holds to their ideals, cause
they dream of utopia where
every wound heals.

The only light in this pseudo-sun is the
misguided spirit of the torch used to
burn down what we've built into the ground.

Everyone wanted a reason to say,
"The world is gonna be ok if you
keep your feet tied to the ground".

But the ground is falling apart.
It took the hope out of my heart to
watch the world walk single-file into the pseudo-sun.

Everybody knows it, but
