especially to people that you know.
We don’t want to be causing harm to
those who mean us well.

No-one wants to feel rejected.
It makes us fear to take a chance at all.
But that mindset skips you out of a great life you could have.

And even if we don’t care to admit it,
we’re all just fumbling, looking for meaning, &
something to do with the short life that we live.

No-one wants to be forgotten
when their time is over, set, & done.
Everyone wants to leave a mark, and
let their name be known.

But maybe we’re all just useless pawns in a
universe that doesn’t care.
And yet, mortality leaves us with a scare.

But why approach it with pessimism?
Embrace your life while you’ve still got it, so
you’ll be satisfied with how you spent it.
